TINLEY PARK, Ill. - Gunshots rang out inside a Lane Bryant store in Tinley Park at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Five people were hit, four of whom are dead, a county coroner told the Chicago Tribune.

Witnesses reported seeing several stretchers being wheeled into the Lane Bryant clothing store in the shopping center. The stretchers later were wheeled out ? carrying no patients. The area of 191st Street and Harlem Avenue was closed due to a flood of police activity. A Target store in the center was on lockdown.

NBC5 reported that the shooting might have been related to a robbery gone bad. Initial reports indicate as many as five people were shot, four fatality.

A police helicopter was in the area looking for the suspect, described as a man with braids or beads in his hair. Police said security cameras in the store had allowed them to tentatively identify the man, who they said has a prior history of armed robbery and a homicide conviction.

The suspect might have been spotted in the nearby Brookside Glen subdivision after fleeing the scene.
